Job Description

Job Summary The Receptionist is responsible for greeting and providing guidance to all visitors and callers to the facility and providing administrative clerical support as needed. The Receptionist will answer all incoming calls while utilizing courteous customer service principles and representing the agency in the most professional manner possible. This position provides secretarial support to the Clinical Director of Operations and other staff at the agency. Required to follow other instructions and perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. Essential Functions General office duties such as filing, typing, answering phone/taking messages, and scanning. Track all office supplies and report any problems with business equipment. Greet and direct all clients/staff with appointments and any visitors. Ensure restrooms, kitchen, and other general areas are adequately supplied with personal hygiene items daily. Maintain lobby area. Opening and closing office and equipment. Inspect fire extinguishers and ensure document required maintenance monthly. Sort and distribute mail daily. Education Requirements:
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent 1 year of experience as a receptionist
Valid Driver's License Preferred:
2 or more years experience as a receptionist Certification /
Licensure Requirements:
No special certification or license requirements Experience /
Knowledge Requirements:
Work experience in a similar behavioral health office environment not required, but is preferred
Computer Skill Requirements:
Computer skills for accurate data entry Familiarity with word processing and email systems (required).
