Job Description
As a Leavitt Group affiliate, Fahey- Leavitt Insurance is backed by a dedicated team of professionals with decades of experience. They are committed to providing the highest level of customer service and insurance solutions for their clients. Fahey-Leavitt Insurance is looking to add a Receptionist to their team who is responsible to create a positive first impression on behalf of the agency, greeting visitors and supplying information regarding the organization to the general public, clients and customers, both on the phone and face to face.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greets and directs clients and visitors
- Answers, screens, and transfers inbound phone calls
- Performs general clerical duties including photocopying, faxing, scanning, and filing
- Collects and coordinates ingoing and outgoing mail/shipments, and distributes to the appropriate individuals
- Schedules and coordinates meetings, appointments, and travel for managers or supervisors
- Prepares and modifies documents including confidential correspondence, reports, memos, and emails as needed
- Submits bills to Accounting for remittance
- Orders office supplies and coordinates shredding services
- Maintains, organizes, and cleans the supply room
- Processes daily deposits
- Fulfills other duties as assigned
Skills and Knowledge:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must be able to communicate information and respond to questions (both verbally and in written form) with clients, company personnel, and others, in a positive and professional manner.
- Possess the ability to perform work in a dependable, consistent, and timely manner.
- Demonstrates the ability to follow instructions, respond to management direction, and solicits feedback to improve performance
