Job description: Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Data Control Specialist to join our data management team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of critical data assets across multiple platforms. Your expertise will ensure that data flows seamlessly through various systems, supporting business intelligence, regulatory compliance, and strategic decision-making. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead data quality initiatives, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive continuous improvement in data governance practices. Responsibilities Manage and monitor data collection processes to ensure completeness and accuracy across enterprise systems. Design and implement robust data models and database structures to support efficient storage and retrieval of large datasets. Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) workflows using tools like Informatica, Talend, or Python scripts to facilitate seamless data integration from diverse sources. Utilize business intelligence tools such as Tableau to create insightful dashboards and reports that highlight key metrics and trends. Conduct regular data quality assessments and implement corrective actions to address inconsistencies or inaccuracies. Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to establish data governance standards and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Lead projects related to master data management, data warehousing, and information governance initiatives using Agile methodologies. Qualifications Proven experience with database management systems including SQL databases and Oracle. Strong proficiency in SQL programming for data querying, analysis, and database management. Hands-on experience with ETL tools such as Informatica or Talend, along with familiarity with big data technologies. Knowledge of data analytics tools like Tableau or similar platforms for business intelligence reporting. Expertise in data model design, database design, and data warehouse architecture. Understanding of regulatory compliance management and information governance principles. Excellent analysis skills combined with cross-functional communication abilities to translate complex data into actionable insights. Experience working within Agile project management frameworks is preferred.
