Assists with connecting long distance or collect calls, or provides customers with assistance in finding a phone number or an address. May also answer customer calls at a company or organization or work for an agency that handles and routes emergency calls.

Job Description

Job Purpose:
Responsible for supporting business needs by directing incoming calls and emails to the appropriate person.
Essential Functions:
Answers all phone calls and directs to appropriate person. Acknowledges purchase order emails and forwards to appropriate person(s). Processes daily reports and distributes. Responsible for maintaining inventory of office supplies. Responsible for maintaining inventory of samples, literature and small parts. Distributes mail. Processes purchase order for order entry and proofing. Prints invoices as requested by customer. Assist CSR with production checks. Maintains company phone list and distributes. Meeting coordinator for department managers. Liaison between IT department and copier leasing agent. Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. At least three years prior experience in customer service is preferred. Must have good communication and mathematical skills and good analytical abilities. Be proficient in 10-key. Prefer 45 WPM. Must have basic computer skills and be proficient in Microsoft Windows. Must have knowledge and proficient use of applicable office-related equipment.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to use a computer, 10-key, telephone, facsimile machine, and typewriter. Will be required to sit and perform computer work for a minimum of 8 hours per day. Frequent motion of hand, wrist, and fingers due to typing and data entry strokes, writing and phone handling on a daily basis.
