Job Description

Company Description New England Call Center (NECC) provides live, web-enabled customer service representatives 24/7 for a variety of client services. The team supports organizations that require reliable, around-the-clock telephone and customer support. NECC focuses on delivering professional, responsive service experiences to callers at all times. Team members work in a fast-paced environment where accuracy, courtesy, and efficiency are essential for meeting client and caller needs. Role Description The Telephone Operator is a full-time, on-site role based in Concord, NH. This position is responsible for answering incoming calls, transferring calls, and routing calls to the appropriate departments or individuals. Day-to-day tasks include greeting callers, gathering and verifying information, documenting call details, and following established scripts or procedures when applicable. The Telephone Operator will also handle basic customer support inquiries, escalate issues when needed, and maintain a calm, professional demeanor during high call volumes. Collaboration with supervisors and colleagues to ensure consistent service quality and adherence to company policies is expected. Qualifications Strong phone etiquette and customer support skills, with the ability to engage callers respectfully and professionally. Effective verbal communication skills and active listening abilities to understand and address caller needs clearly. Ability to work on-site in Concord, NH, manage time efficiently, and remain focused in a high-volume call environment. Basic computer literacy, data entry skills, and familiarity with web-enabled customer service tools. Reliable attendance, flexibility to work varied shifts as needed, and commitment to providing consistent, high-quality service. Prior experience in a call center, receptionist, or front desk role is beneficial but not required.
Pay:
From $15.00 per hour Expected hours: 32.0 per week
