The J Resort is a full-service hotel-casino with over 500 rooms and wide variety of Slots and Table Games. Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:
Handle all calls in a consistent, courteous and professional manner Makes call connections and relays all incoming calls and messages, transfers calls, and places outgoing calls for guests Maintains a minimum of 65 calls per hour Operates paging system to call individuals in the property to phone Places wake up calls based on guest's requests Logs all outgoing calls and toll charges and other unusual incidents or emergencies in the logbook at the end of shift Monitors the hotel and casino fire alarm panels Dispatches radio calls to Security and Engineering during emergencies Contacts various agencies in the event of an emergency such as Fire Department, Police Department, Hospitals, etc. Updates the PBX information bulletin board on messages received over the phone Signs in and out the different managers in the Manager's Call In and Out Log based on calls received Prints out the Hotel Guest Occupancy reports every morning for reference
Skills, Education and Other Requirements:
Basic computer knowledge, phone etiquette and cash handling experience required Must be fluent in English and have strong communication skills and phone skills High School Diploma or Equivalent Work Experience required Experience in customer service or hotel industry preferred but not required. 2 years of cash handling and computer involvement Identification that establishes identity Identification that establishes the right to work in the United States
