We are currently seeking friendly, dependable, and customer-focused individuals to join a busy Answering Service team in Canton, Ohio. This is an excellent opportunity for entry-level candidates, students, retirees, or anyone looking for flexible work hours and steady income. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for a variety of businesses, helping callers receive professional and courteous assistance. Clients may include medical offices, dental practices, schools, business call lines, and other organizations that rely on exceptional customer service. What You'll Do Answer incoming calls for multiple businesses and organizations Provide professional, friendly, and accurate customer service Take messages and relay information according to client guidelines Gather and document caller information Handle calls with confidentiality and professionalism Transfer calls or escalate urgent matters when necessary Maintain accurate records while using computer systems and phone software What We're Looking For Strong communication and active listening skills Professional phone presence and customer service mindset Basic computer and typing skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Dependable attendance and punctuality Ability to maintain confidentiality, particularly when handling medical or professional client calls Previous customer service, receptionist, call center, or administrative experience is helpful but not required Schedule & Hours Available shifts between 6:00 AM and 10:00 PM Weekend availability required Part-time and full-time opportunities available Flexible scheduling options may be available based on business needs Pay & Benefits Starting pay: $15.00 per hour Additional $1.00 per hour shift differential for weekend hours Full-time status begins at 30+ hours per week Upon permanent hire, employees may be eligible for company-sponsored benefits Express Employment Professionals offers benefits to eligible associates while on assignment Why This Position?
