You might just be our next superstar Medical Receptionist! At Virginia Beach OBGYN, we don't just care for women—we care about them. We're on the hunt for someone equal parts friendly, organized, and unflappable (yes, even when the phones are ringing off the hook!).
We'd Love If You Bring:
Experience with medical administrative support tasks. Proficiency using electronic health records (EHRs). Strong organizational skills that would make Marie Kondo proud.
What You'll Be Doing Daily:
Welcoming patients like they're your favorite guest (because they are). Answering phones like a boss—courteously, professionally, and without panic. You can speak clearly, listen well, and even calm down that one stressed-out caller. Scheduling appointments with ninja-like accuracy. Collecting copays without making it awkward. Ensuring patient information is accurate (we take accurate billing very seriously around here). Explaining insurance coverage and forms without sounding like a robot. Being the friendly bridge between patients and the care team. Being the glue that holds our front office together. What You Must Bring to the
Table:
A high school diploma or equivalent and maybe some healthcare front desk experience. One year of customer service or receptionist experience (bonus if it's in a medical office). Strong communication skills and a calm, can-do vibe. An eagle eye for details and the ability to keep your cool when things get busy. Comfort with computers, phones, and the occasional copier rebellion. A serious love for helping people—even on a Monday morning.
