Full Job Description Job Summary:
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and has strong written and verbal communication skills. You must have good analytical and problem-solving skills, and you should have the ability to anticipate problems before they arise, to have comprehend and write instructions, and correspondence with proper punctuation, spelling, grammar and the drive to deliver superior customer service. Must have ability to consistently meet deadlines, demonstrate strong follow through, and to follow departmental procedures. Candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high volume, deadline oriented environment.
Job Responsibilities:
Effectively search title chains, general index, and property taxes Conduct thorough searches of public and private records to verify property ownership and legal status. Have a working knowledge and understanding of documents associated with residential and commercial property To have the ability to create preliminary reports and commitments Have experience with complicated legal descriptions and ability to plot sectional and meters and bounds descriptions and easements Monitor email and proprietary systems Work cooperatively with team members to meet daily production quotas.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent 5+ years of experience in title search/exam Residential and commercial experience Strong organizational skills Good verbal and written communication skills Proficient Microsoft Office Programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook National experience helpful
Pay:
$30.00 - $32.00 per hour
