In this dynamic role, you will balance a well-rounded mix of responsibilities—including deal desk contract processing, DMV registration workflows, accounts receivable/payable functions, and supporting broader automotive office operations. Responsibilities Review new and pre-owned vehicle sale and lease contracts for accuracy, completeness, and maximum profitability before final packaging Verify lender stipulations, tax calculations, DMV fees, and product inclusions (GAP, service contracts) to accelerate contract funding and minimize buy-backs Oversee electronic vehicle registration, title processing, and out-of-state titling in strict compliance with DMV regulations Manage dealership receivables related to wholesale deals, manufacturer incentives, and contract-in-transit tracking, alongside general office accounts payable duties as assigned Partner closely with department heads to resolve discrepancies, structure complex deals, and streamline workflow from the showroom floor to the accounting office Assist with general automotive office accounting workflows, deal jacket auditing, and month-end closing procedures Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience working in an automotive dealership office setting Extensive working knowledge of automotive deal structures, contract packaging, and desking software Strong proficiency in accounts receivable/payable (AR/AP) specific to dealership accounting and comprehensive knowledge of California DMV registration processes and rules Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage high-volume paperwork accurately under tight deadlines
