Auto Desk Specialist - Dade Auto Desk (Main Branch)
Location:
1500 NW 107th Ave, Sweetwater, FL, 33172
Summary:
To assist Credit Union members in their purchase of new and used vehicles. Coordinate vehicle purchases through local area dealerships and exercise a thorough knowledge of applicable state laws as it relates to motor vehicle licensing and taxing. Reports directly to VP Lending. Duties & Responsibilities Evaluate and recommend vehicle purchase options to Credit Union Members. Negotiate with dealer community vehicle pricing in best interest to Member. Prepare dealer invoices and documentation for all purchases handled through Auto Desk. Must be detail oriented, ability to retain technical information and display excellent mathematical skills. Must have an interest in the automotive industry and feel comfortable discussing the positive and negative options of different vehicles. Resolve Member complaints and issues relative to the vehicle purchase. Have thorough knowledge of consumer laws as it pertains to vehicle purchases, licensing, insurance and taxing. Coordinate loan origination with Credit Union Staff. Interface with dealer community by making periodic sales calls. Weekly Branch visits to assist branch staff with DAD Program. Flexible work schedule , flexible hours meaning you may have different end times for your workday than the standard 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. For car sales hour may fluctuate but will work about 12hr days. Requirements Two (2) or more year s previous sales, auto desk experience, and/or dealership financing environment. Must be PC literate with knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. Ability to interpret loan documents, legal and business correspondence, and financial statements. Must meet deadlines accurately and possess strong organizational skills. High School Diploma or Equivalent. Must have the ability to work flexible hours which include but are not limited to nights and weekends. Bilingual English/Spanish highly desirable.
