Overview Join our dynamic team as a Pre-Owned Vehicle Title Clerk, where your expertise will ensure the smooth processing of vehicle titles and related paperwork for our pre-owned vehicle inventory. This vital role combines attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to maintain compliance with state transportation regulations and dealership policies. As a key player in our automotive sales operation, you'll facilitate seamless title transfers, manage documentation accuracy, and support the overall efficiency of our used vehicle department. Your proactive approach and strong communication skills will help us deliver outstanding customer service and uphold our reputation for integrity and professionalism. Duties Process automotive titles, registrations, and related paperwork accurately in accordance with state transportation regulations and dealership standards Manage the entire title transfer process for pre-owned vehicles, ensuring timely completion and compliance with legal requirements Maintain detailed records of all title transactions, inventory movements, and client documentation using CDK software and Microsoft Office tools Collaborate with sales teams to verify customer information, complete retail sales paperwork, and ensure proper documentation for each transaction Assist with inventory management by tracking vehicle status, updating records, and coordinating with the sales pipeline to optimize stock flow Communicate effectively with clients, dealerships, and government agencies to resolve title issues or discrepancies promptly Support automotive repair shops or service departments by providing necessary documentation for vehicle processing or warranty claims Skills Strong knowledge of automotive sales paperwork processing, title processing procedures, and state transportation regulations Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail for data entry and record keeping Proficiency in Dlr Dmv and Dlr 50 software, Microsoft Office Suite, and automotive inventory control systems Effective communication skills for client interaction, public speaking engagements, and team collaboration Ability to handle outbound sales activities such as client follow-ups or outreach related to vehicle documentation services Multilingual or bilingual capabilities are a plus to serve diverse customer bases effectively Experience in retail sales, high-end sales environments, or dealership experience enhances understanding of customer needs and sales management strategies Knowledge of automotive retail math, accounting principles, cashiering procedures, Strong phone etiquette combined with organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to excellence in automotive retail! Pay:
$17.00 - $19.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 40.0 per week
