Job Description

Title & Registration Specialist:
Overview:
The Title/Registration Specialist manages the preparation, review, and submission of vehicle title and registration documentation. This position ensures all records are completed accurately, comply with applicable state and legal regulations, and support both customers and internal departments throughout the registration process.
What You'll Do:
Examine incoming title and registration documents related to vehicle purchases to ensure records are complete and accurate. Investigate and clear title exceptions, including aged inventory and missing-title situations. Coordinate corrections with internal partners when documentation discrepancies are identified. Prepare and file title, registration, and tax documentation with the appropriate state agencies. Audit vehicle sale contracts and supporting registration paperwork for accuracy and compliance. Process ownership transfer and registration transactions in accordance with state requirements. Assist customers with title and registration matters via phone, email, chat, and CRM communication. Partner with state agency representatives to address registration, title, and licensing concerns. Track open items and follow through on outstanding requirements to support timely transaction completion. Achieve departmental expectations for accuracy, turnaround time, and overall productivity. Contribute to additional team and business needs as assigned.
What You'll Bring:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Two or more years of automotive industry experience preferred. Experience with vehicle title and registration processing preferred. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication and active listening abilities. Effective time management and prioritization skills. Critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities. Self-motivation, initiative, and adaptability. A collaborative mindset and willingness to learn. Pay:
$20.00 - $26.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
