Job Description

Assistant / Title Clerk - Powersports Dealership We are looking for a dependable, organized Dealership Assistant / Title Clerk to support the daily operations of our powersports dealership. This position will work closely with management and the sales team and will be responsible for helping ensure customer paperwork, titles, financing documents, and dealership records are completed accurately and on time. Previous dealership experience is strongly preferred, particularly experience with vehicle title work. Automotive, powersports, motorcycle, ATV/UTV, RV, or similar dealership experience would be a good fit. Responsibilities Prepare and process title and registration paperwork Handle in-state and out-of-state title transactions Process MSOs/MCOs, titles, lienholder information, buyer's orders, bills of sale, and related documents Review sales paperwork for accuracy before submitting title work Work with DMVs/BMVs, county clerks, lenders, and customers to resolve title issues Assist with sales tax and tax-exempt documentation Maintain organized deal jackets and customer records Assist with financing paperwork and lender documentation Track outstanding titles, registrations, liens, and paperwork Contact customers when signatures or additional documents are needed Assist management and sales staff with administrative duties Answer phones and provide professional customer service when needed Maintain confidentiality of customer and financial information Qualifications Dealership experience preferred Title-processing experience strongly preferred Familiarity with DMV/BMV title and registration procedures Experience with out-of-state title work is a major plus Strong attention to detail and ability to catch paperwork errors Comfortable working with computers, email, PDFs, scanning, and dealership software Good communication and customer-service skills Able to manage multiple deals and deadlines at the same time Dependable, professional, and organized Ideal Candidate We're looking for someone who understands that dealership paperwork has to be accurate the first time . The ideal candidate has worked in a dealership office, title department, F&I office, or similar position and is comfortable handling VINs, MSOs, liens, taxes, title applications, and customer documentation. Experience specifically with ATVs, side-by-sides, motorcycles, or other powersports vehicles is preferred but isn't required if the applicant has solid automotive dealership/title experience.
Pay:
$15.00 - $20.00 per hour
