Job Description
Experienced Automotive Title Clerk Join Our Growing Harley-Davidson Dealership Group! We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Automotive Title Clerk to join our dealership team. The ideal candidate must have extensive dealership title experience and be knowledgeable in processing vehicle titles, registrations, and related documentation across multiple states. Required Experience Candidates must have previous automotive or powersports dealership title experience and be familiar with title and registration requirements in the following states: Iowa Kansas Kentucky Louisiana Nebraska North Carolina Responsibilities Process new and used vehicle titles accurately and timely. Submit title applications and registration paperwork to the appropriate state agencies. Prepare and review all title documentation for accuracy and compliance. Process lien recordings, lien releases, and payoffs. Resolve title discrepancies and DMV issues. Maintain organized title files and monitor outstanding title work. Stay current with state title laws and DMV regulations. Assist with audits and ensure dealership compliance. Qualifications Minimum 3 years of dealership title clerk experience (automotive or powersports preferred). Strong working knowledge of title and registration procedures in Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Nebraska, and North Carolina. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines. Strong communication and problem-solving abilities. Experience with dealership management systems ( Lightspeed, Dealertrack, IDS, or similar) is a plus. Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook.
