Title Examiner

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Title Examiner to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in title examination, an eye for detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include but not limited to: Search the public records and examine title to determine legal condition of the property Working knowledge of legal documents affecting title to real property and methods by which they are recorded and/or become liens Determine the tax status of the real property Examine copies of records, such as Deeds, mortgages, liens, judgments, vital statistics, and plat and map books to determine ownership, encumbrances and to verify legal description of the property Examine condominium and homeowners' associations documentation Determine the impact of any recorded instrument in the chain of title such as deeds, liens, judgments, etc. Determine the proper parties to be named in a foreclosure action Outline any title curative issues required and/or identify any senior interest Summarize the legal condition of the property and advise the client Data entry of the results of the examination into the company's computer Meet daily required quota
