This role involves accurately processing vehicle titles and registrations, ensuring compliance with all Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) regulations for Georgica Auto Holdings.
Job Responsibilities:
Prepare and process all necessary documentation for vehicle titling and registration, including new, used, and wholesale vehicles. Verify accuracy of all titles, odometer statements, and other relevant paperwork. Communicate effectively with customers, dealerships, and the DMV regarding title and registration status. Resolve title discrepancies and issues in a timely and efficient manner. Maintain organized and accurate records of all title and registration transactions. Stay up-to-date with current DMV laws and regulations. Process vehicle lien releases and reassignments. Manage and reconcile title inventories. Assist with other administrative tasks as needed within the accounting or sales department.
Job Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a DMV Title Clerk, preferably within an automotive dealership. Thorough understanding of state and federal titling and registration laws and procedures. Proficiency in automotive dealership management systems (e.g., CDK Global, Reynolds & Reynolds). Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
