Foreclosure Reader - Melville, NY $30-$38 per hour | Full-Time | On-Site A well?established real estate services/title insurance firm in Melville, NY is seeking an experienced Foreclosure Reader to review, analyze, and summarize title and foreclosure?related documentation. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent written communication skills, and prior experience working with foreclosure files, title abstracts, or real estate records. Role Overview The Foreclosure Reader will be responsible for reviewing title abstracts, tax searches, legal descriptions, and supporting documents, then converting findings into clear, accurate, client?ready reports. This position requires someone who can manage a high volume of files, identify discrepancies, and communicate effectively with internal teams and clients. Key Responsibilities Review title abstracts and convert findings into structured, accurate written reports Examine tax searches, property descriptions, and supporting documents for completeness and accuracy Identify liens, encumbrances, title issues, and inconsistencies within documentation Respond to client inquiries related to assigned files and documentation Maintain consistency and accuracy across all reports and file reviews Collaborate with internal team members to resolve unclear or conflicting information Manage multiple files simultaneously while meeting deadlines Required Qualifications Experience with title abstracts, foreclosure files, or real estate documentation Strong understanding of property descriptions, tax search terminology, and related legal concepts Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in written work Strong written communication skills Ability to manage multiple files and prioritize deadlines Proficiency with office software and document management systems Must have either prior reading experience or foreclosure industry experience Compensation & Benefits $30-$38 per hour, depending on experience Health insurance Dental and vision insurance 401(k) Paid time off Full-time, in-person role Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $30.00 - $38.00
