Job Description

Specific Duties :
(Duties including but not limited to) Maintains customer files Data entry of vehicle sales applications Book vehicles in & out of dealership inventory Maintain New York State Book of Registry Serves customers by answering phones and taking messages as well as answering customer questions Greet customers when they arrive in the showroom Assists in the execution of paperwork in vehicle deliveries Assists sales, office and service staff when needed All other duties as assigned

Microsoft Excel and Word Proficient , Telephone Skills, Typing, Documentation Skills, Verbal Communication, Written Communication, Dependability, Attention to Detail, Administrative Writing Skills, General Math Skills, Accounting, Deadline-Oriented, Reporting Skills, Attention to Detail, Confidentiality The title clerk is responsible for maintaining paperwork for all inventory (automobiles, campers, boats, ATVs, etc.). When vehicle arrive to our dealership, the title clerk "books them in". When they are sold, the title clerk "books them out". When a sale is made, the title clerk prepares all necessary paperwork. People who are great at this job: 1. High level of attention to detail-they will not let a single mistake go uncorrected 2. Very Organized-they have a place for everything and everything is in its place 3. Bias for Action-they get work done quickly and don't let themselves fall behind 4. Friendly-they make customers feel at home & communicate effectively with coworkers
Pay:
Pay is hourly based on experience. This is an entry level position with typical starting pay between $13.20 to $15.00 assuming no prior title clerk experience.
Other Compensation:
Individual health insurance paid by the company up to $315 per month (eligible after 30 days, family members extra) 13 vacation days per year (extra vacation after 5 years) Dealership employee pricing on new vehicles Employer sponsored pension plan (up to 3% of yearly salary) Long-Term Bonus Program (begins after 3 years) Free College Degree Programs through Strayer University This is a full-time 40 hour/week position.
