Job Description
Title Clerk Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Title Clerk to join our team. This role is responsible for managing all aspects of vehicle title processing, registration, and related administrative functions across multiple states. The ideal candidate is highly organized, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has a strong understanding of title procedures and compliance requirements.Compensation:
$12-$15 per hour, based on experienceSchedule:
Tuesday throughSaturday Key Responsibilities:
Process and manage vehicle titles for all customers, including multi-state transactions Ensure accuracy and compliance with all state and federal regulations Handle vehicle registrations, plates, and related documentation Coordinate with banks, customers, and agencies to resolve title and funding issues Perform data entry for all incoming inventory units from manufacturers Prepare and maintain deal jackets, title files, and inventory folders Mail out license plates and registration documents in a timely manner Run business-related errands (tax office, bank, Texas Parks & Wildlife, etc.) Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient workspace Safeguard confidential customer and company information Assist with additional administrative and operational projects as neededQualifications:
Required:
Prior experience as a Title Clerk (automotive, powersports, or similar industry) Strong knowledge of title processing, registration procedures, and compliance standards Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a high-volume environment Strong communication and follow-up skills Proficiency with basic office software and data entry systemsPhysical Requirements:
Ability to sit for extended periods Perform repetitive tasks using hands and fingers Handle files, documents, and office equipment regularlyJob Type:
