The ideal candidate will have prior experience handling DMV paperwork, vehicle title transfers, and registration processing in a dealership or automotive office environment. Automotive Tag and Title Clerk:
Process all new and used vehicle titles, tags, and registrations accurately and efficiently. Submit title and registration documents to the DMV in a timely manner and track completion. Verify all required forms, signatures, and lien information for accuracy and compliance. Handle license plate transfers, lien releases, and payoff documentation. Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all title and registration transactions. Work closely with the sales and finance teams to resolve any title or paperwork issues. Assist with general office and accounting duties within the dealership as needed. Requirements/Qualifications•
Automotive Tag and Title Clerk:
Previous experience as an Automotive Tag and Title Clerk or DMV Title Clerk in a dealership setting is highly preferred. Strong understanding of automotive title, registration, and DMV processing procedures. Proficiency with dealership management systems (DMS), Reynolds & Reynolds, CDK, or similar software. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills with a focus on accuracy. Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced automotive office environment. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional administrative or accounting experience is a plus.
