Admissions Clerk

Duties Facilitate admissions from hospital and community setting into the facility Review referral packets from hospital with nursing department to determine if clinical needs can be met Verify insurance to ensure insurance coverage for the facility and complete financial packets for confirmed admissions Prepare both physical chart for nursing unit and complete electronic medical record Call families and hospital staff for admission coordination Set up and complete admission agreements via DocuSign Provide information and tours of the facility - either in person or virtual - in order to best assist family members through the admission process Remain available to patients and family members during the course of their stay to ensure satisfaction
