Responsibilities:

16274 US Highway 80 East, Brooklet, GA Position Summary The Deburr Technician is responsible for removing burs, sharp edges, and excess material from machined parts to ensure finished components meet required specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements. This role involves using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment while following engineering drawings and company procedures. Essential Functions 1. Deburr and Finish Parts o Remove burrs, sharp edges, and imperfections from machined components using hand tools, rotary tools, files, abrasive wheels, and other finishing equipment. o Ensure parts meet quality and dimensional requirements. 2. Interpret Work Instructions o Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and job travelers to determine required deburring operations and finishing standards. 3. Inspect Components o Visually inspect parts for defects, burrs, and surface finish issues. o Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and magnification equipment when necessary. 4. Maintain Quality Standards o Follow company quality procedures and ensure all parts meet required specifications before moving to the next operation. o Report non-conforming parts to supervisors or quality personnel. 5.   • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Basic mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to read basic blueprints or technical drawings
  • Attention to detail and manual dexterity
  • Ability to use hand tools and measuring instruments Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in deburring, machining, or manufacturing
  • Experience with aerospace, precision machining, or metal finishing

  • Ability to lift up to 25-50 lbs occasionally
