Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Afternoon to join our vibrant team, providing exceptional care and support to children during the afternoon hours. In this role, you will create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment that promotes childhood development and learning. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help foster positive experiences for children, ensuring their well-being and growth are prioritized every day. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young learners while working in a dynamic, supportive setting. Responsibilities Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote early childhood education and development Ensure the safety and well-being of children by implementing proper caregiving techniques and behavior management strategies Support children's social, emotional, and physical needs through attentive caregiving and nurturing interactions Monitor children's progress and communicate observations to parents or guardians as needed Maintain compliance with safety protocols, including first aid procedures, especially when working with infants, toddlers, or children with special needs Skills Experience in early childhood education, daycare, preschool, or similar settings Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices for working with children with disabilities or special needs Proficiency in classroom management and behavior management techniques Ability to perform first aid and respond effectively to emergency situations Strong communication skills for collaborating with colleagues, children, and families Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with young children of various ages including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers Familiarity with caregiving roles such as nannying or babysitting is a plus Join us in creating a joyful and enriching environment where children can thrive!
