Afterschool Program Staff Pelham Elementary School

Hours:

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursdays and Fridays, 2:15 PM - 5:45 PM (3.5 hours/day, 10.5-17.5 hours/week if you can also sub) Occasional subbing for other days if you can is also available.

Pelham Elementary School - Pelham, MA The Pelham Afterschool Program is seeking a reliable, enthusiastic, and caring staff member to join our team. We are a small, community-focused program that provides a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for elementary-aged children after the school day ends.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and engage with children during indoor and outdoor activities Support students during structured activities, free play, and snack time Help run our daily homework club session (we do our best to have all kids complete homework, though it cannot be guaranteed) Create a positive, inclusive atmosphere where all children feel welcome Work collaboratively with fellow staff and communicate with families as needed Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times Help with set-up and clean-up of activities and play spaces Follow program policies and procedures

Qualifications:

Must be reliable and punctual Experience working with children preferred, but not required Ability to stay calm and patient in a busy environment Must be available for the full program hours on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, including as many of the early release days.

Transportation Note:

There is no bus transportation to the school, so having a car or reliable transportation is highly recommended.
