Job Order Hourly Rate of Pay:

$28.00 (Based on education and/or years of relevant work experience reflected on the application). Effective July 1, 2025, candidates now meet the minimum qualifications of a position if they have the minimum education and experience listed in the class specification. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Basic to working knowledge in the interpretation and application of federal laws and State HR laws, policies, and practices governing HR. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others; to express ideas clearly and concisely; to exercise good judgment in analyzing situations and making recommendations and/or decisions within the delegated level of authority. Minimum Education and Experience Some state job postings say you can qualify by an "equivalent combination of education and experience." Bachelor's degree, typically in Human Resources or related field from an appropriately accredited institution; or High school or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and 3 years of progressive experience in Human Resources; or equivalent combination or education and experience.
