Responsibilities Safely ascend trees using climbing gear and rigging techniques to perform pruning, trimming, or removal operations. Operate bucket trucks and other equipment to access hard-to-reach areas efficiently and securely. Implement arborist rigging techniques for safe dismantling or pruning of large or hazardous trees. Conduct tree removal projects with precision, ensuring minimal impact on surrounding landscapes and structures. Apply horticultural knowledge to plant pruning care that promotes healthy growth and aesthetic appeal. Use chainsaws, hand tools, and other equipment responsibly following strict safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to plan work sequences, assess risks, and execute projects effectively in outdoor settings. Maintain detailed records of work performed, including tree condition assessments and rigging setups. Experience Prior outdoor work experience with a focus on horticulture, landscaping, or arboriculture is highly preferred.
