- We are currently seeking a
- Permission Taker / Work Planner
- to join our team.
Salary:
$25 - $35/hr based on experience.
- Essential Functions
- + Obtains oral or written permission from property owners to trim or remove trees and apply herbicides.
Discusses issues such as obtaining access, power interruption, work to be done, etc., with customer or property owner. .
+ Discusses responsibility for apparent damage to property, repairs for minor damage, and refers controversial cases to the General Foreperson.
+ Performs Customer Service and scheduling: Daily interaction with homeowners, businesses, and local government
+ Field-based position; works in all temperatures and weather and will be exposed to nature, i.e., irritating plants and biting or stinging insects, dust, etc.
+ May be exposed to dogs and other animals.
- Minimum Requirements
- + Must be able to safely drive an approved company vehicle.
+ Must be able to withstand exposure to all kinds of weather while completing work assignments, i.e., rain, heat, sun, and cold.
+ Must be able to write, read, and comprehend written and verbal job instructions/information.
+ Must be able to communicate and handle confrontations professionally.
+ Must have transportation to and from the show-up location. + 3 years of arboricultural, horticultural, or vegetation-related experience OR 2-year or 4-year degree in a related subject.
+ Experience with Utility Vegetation Management Experience is preferred. GO95 and state wildland fire codes. ISA (International Society of Arboriculture) Certified Arborist is a plus.
+ Must be able to read maps and utilize geographic information systems (GIS).
+ Must be able to utilize mobile devices with email, outlook, and MS Excel.

TRAQ, CTSP
Certification, OSHA-30, etc.
- Pre-Screen:

- + Must have a valid Class C Driver's license.
