With a focus on custom installation, meticulous craftsmanship, and long-term maintenance, we create dream landscapes and build lifelong relationships. As an Arborist Account Manager , you will partner with our Tree Care Operations Manager to build a pipeline of arbor care work, including tree trimming and plant health care services. You will meet regularly with customers, visit landscape sites to diagnose and offer solutions, and provide support to landscape maintenance Account Managers in the field. You will supervise tree care teams, ensuring high-quality service and operational efficiency. You will also collaborate with the General Manager and Tree Care Operations Manager to develop long-term growth plans, identify capital expenditure needs (equipment, vehicles, et al), and support team development. Additionally, you will ensure the accuracy of billing processes and assist with managing accounts receivable (AR). Key Responsibilities Serve as a liaison between Account Managers and customers, providing timely and effective tree care solutions for both routine and complex needs. Support the construction division in maintaining newly planted specimens and other installation-related tree care. Estimate and assist with selling tree care and plant health care projects, ensuring they are executed efficiently and within budget. Ensure work is scheduled, completed, and billed on time. Assist with accounts receivable (AR) management and follow through on outstanding balances as needed. Monitor team performance and maintain high standards of customer satisfaction and quality. Ensure fleet maintenance and proper handling of company assets. Model and enforce safety policies and procedures for all division employees. Mentor, coach, and develop team members, ensuring talent growth and alignment with company values. Lead inventory management for pesticides and ensure safe handling and storage. Ensure the maintenance division is registered at the county level and secure necessary permits. Report chemical usage to the county monthly. Hire, coach, and manage team members to maintain a high-functioning, professional crew. Key Skills and Qualifications Extensive knowledge of tree biology, soil science, and arboriculture. Ability to diagnose and treat tree health issues such as pests, diseases, and nutrient deficiencies. Strong understanding of safety protocols for climbing, pruning, and applying chemicals. Proficiency in using tree care tools and equipment (e.g., pruning, fertilizing, and pest control tools). Strong communication skills for customer interaction and teamwork. Problem-solving abilities to assess and resolve complex tree care issues. Attention to detail in maintaining records, preparing solutions, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
