Responsibilities Perform tree trimming, pruning, and removal using chainsaws, rigging equipment, and bucket trucks to access high branches safely. Apply arborist rigging techniques to dismantle large or hazardous trees efficiently and securely. Operate bucket trucks and other aerial lift equipment to reach elevated areas with precision. Conduct plant pruning care and tree care practices that promote healthy growth and landscape aesthetics. Use GIS (Geographic Information Systems) tools for mapping and planning tree maintenance activities. Execute land clearing, stump grinding, and tree removal projects while following strict safety protocols. Maintain detailed records of work performed, including tree health assessments and maintenance logs. Skills Strong outdoor work experience with a focus on horticulture, dendrology (study of trees), and landscape maintenance. Proficiency in operating bucket trucks, chainsaws, and other tree care tools with adherence to safety standards. Knowledge of arborist rigging techniques for safe tree dismantling and rigging operations. Familiarity with GIS technology for mapping and planning purposes. Ability to perform plant pruning care, lawn care, and general landscaping tasks as needed. Growing experience in horticulture or related fields is highly desirable.
