In this energetic position, you will be responsible for climbing, pruning, and maintaining trees to ensure safety, health, and aesthetic appeal. Your expertise will contribute to the overall beauty and safety of our outdoor spaces while working closely with a dedicated crew committed to excellence. Duties Safely ascend and descend trees using climbing gear to perform pruning, trimming, and removal tasks Assess tree health and identify potential hazards or disease using plant identification skills Execute comprehensive tree care procedures, including cabling, bracing, and pest management Collaborate with team members to complete landscape maintenance projects such as lawn care, hardscape installation, and irrigation system setup Supervise crew members during outdoor work projects, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times Operate grounds maintenance equipment, including company vehicles, pruning tools, and landscaping machinery Assist with irrigation management and troubleshooting to maintain healthy landscapes and trees Experience Proven outdoor work experience with a focus on tree care or landscaping Demonstrated supervisory or crew management experience in outdoor environments Knowledge of horticulture principles, plant identification, and landscape maintenance techniques Familiarity with construction projects related to landscaping or outdoor installations Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively Experience operating grounds maintenance equipment safely and efficiently Background in gardening, hardscape work, or groundskeeping is highly desirable Join us in creating beautiful, safe outdoor spaces while advancing your career in arboriculture and landscape management.
