Landscaping Skid Operator

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Landscaping Skid Operator to join our dynamic outdoor maintenance team. In this role, you will operate skid steer loaders and other heavy machinery to support a wide range of landscaping, lawn care, and landscape maintenance projects. Your expertise will help create beautiful, functional outdoor spaces while ensuring safety and efficiency on every job site. Responsibilities Operate skid steer loaders, excavators, and other power tools to perform landscaping tasks such as grading, planting, and hardscape installation Assist with lawn care activities including mowing, edging, aeration, and snow plowing during seasonal demands Conduct landscape maintenance tasks such as tree trimming, pruning, irrigation setup, and garden bed upkeep Use hand tools and power tools safely to execute landscape projects with precision and quality Support construction activities related to landscape features like patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other hardscape elements Perform routine equipment inspections, maintenance, and minor repairs to ensure optimal operation of machinery Collaborate with team members to plan and execute landscape projects efficiently while adhering to safety standards Qualifications Proven mechanical knowledge with experience operating skid steer loaders, excavators, or similar heavy equipment Strong background in lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening or horticulture practices Familiarity with landscaping techniques including hardscape installation and tree care Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively in outdoor environments Knowledge of irrigation systems, snow plowing procedures, and general construction principles is a plus Experience in tree trimming, mowing, or other horticultural activities preferred Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive approach to safety and maintenance protocols Join our team if you're passionate about transforming outdoor spaces through skilled machinery operation and landscape expertise!
