Key Qualifications:
Master's or Specialist degree from an accredited program in School Psychology or related field Current state licensure or eligibility as a School Psychologist or intern status (graduates welcome) Knowledge of special education processes and familiarity with IEP development Strong assessment, consultation, and counseling skills Collaborative spirit to work with teachers, administrators, and families Excellent organizational and communication abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct psychoeducational assessments to identify student needs Participate in student support and multidisciplinary team meetings Develop effective interventions and strategies to address academic or behavioral challenges Support compliance with special education laws and regulations Offer guidance on crisis intervention and prevention programs Provide counseling and consultation for students, staff, and parents This position may lead to a permanent placement within the district, offering both continuity and professional growth.
