Licensed CT Arborist / Tree Crew Leader Advanced Tree Solutions of Connecticut is seeking an experienced Connecticut Licensed Arborist / Tree Crew Leader to join our team. This is a leadership and production position for someone who knows tree work, can safely run a crew, communicate professionally with customers, and keep jobs moving efficiently from start to finish. We are looking for someone who takes pride in doing quality work and wants to be a key part of a growing tree company. Responsibilities Lead and supervise a tree removal and pruning crew Safely plan and execute tree removals, pruning, and technical jobs Operate a bucket truck and aerial lift equipment Perform climbing work when necessary Direct groundsmen and other crew members Coordinate rigging, lowering, and removal operations Maintain productivity while keeping safety the #1 priority Inspect job sites and identify potential hazards before work begins Communicate job expectations clearly with the crew Communicate professionally with homeowners and customers Ensure trucks, tools, and equipment are properly maintained Keep job sites organized and ensure professional cleanup Train and develop less-experienced crew members Follow Connecticut requirements and accepted tree-care practices Requirements Current Connecticut Arborist License Strong tree removal and pruning experience Previous crew leadership or foreman experience strongly preferred Experience operating a bucket truck Strong knowledge of rigging and technical tree removal Chainsaw proficiency Ability to safely identify hazards and make good decisions in the field Valid driver's license with a clean driving record CDL is strongly preferred Dependable and able to consistently show up on time Strong communication and leadership skills Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Able to perform physically demanding work The Person We're Looking For We're looking for someone who can take ownership of a job.
