In this energetic position, you will be responsible for working alongside our crews trimming, pruning, and removing trees to enhance safety, aesthetics, and tree health. Your expertise will help ensure that trees are properly cared for using industry best practices and modern equipment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, develop your horticultural skills, and contribute to community beautification projects. Duties Maintain safety standards by inspecting equipment, securing work areas, and following all safety protocols Conduct daily safety tailboards with crews Schedule crews and perform pre-job walkthroughs Safely operate bucket trucks and other aerial lift equipment to access high branches and tree canopies Use rigging techniques to carefully lower large limbs or entire trees during trimming or removal processes Perform precise tree trimming and pruning to promote healthy growth and improve structural integrity Apply knowledge of GIS (Geographic Information Systems) for mapping and documenting tree locations and health status Requirements Proven leadership and management experience in supervising personnel Proven experience in tree care, landscaping, or horticulture with a focus on tree trimming and maintenance Ability to operate bucket trucks, bucket lifts, and other specialized landscaping equipment safely Knowledge of rigging techniques for lifting heavy limbs or trees during removal or pruning tasks Familiarity with GIS mapping tools is a plus for tracking tree health and locations Strong understanding of landscape maintenance practices including lawn care and general horticulture principles Growing experience in arboriculture or related fields is preferred Excellent physical stamina with the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions Commitment to safety procedures and continuous learning in tree care techniques Embark on a rewarding career where your skills help shape vibrant outdoor spaces!
