In this energetic position, you will utilize your climbing skills and arborist expertise to perform tree care, removal, pruning, and trimming tasks. Whether you're enhancing your climbing techniques or applying your knowledge of tree biology, you'll be an essential part of our dedicated crew committed to excellence in tree care. Duties Safely ascend trees using climbing gear and rigging techniques to perform pruning, trimming, or removal operations. Operate equipment to access hard-to-reach areas efficiently and securely. Implement arborist rigging techniques for controlled tree dismantling or branch removal, ensuring safety for team members and property. Conduct tree removal projects with precision, including stump grinding and debris cleanup after completion as needed. Apply plant pruning care principles to promote healthy growth and aesthetic appeal of trees and shrubs. Follow strict safety protocols during all operations, including chainsaw handling, rigging procedures, and equipment use. Qualifications Proven outdoor work experience with a focus on landscaping, or arboriculture. Familiarity with tree care practices such as pruning, trimming, planting, and general maintenance. Knowledge of arborist rigging techniques and safety standards for climbing and bucket operation. Experience with chainsaw operation and other power tools used in tree work.
