Arborist / Tree Climber Sarasota, Florida Festive Lighting Pros is looking for an experienced Arborist / Tree Climber to join our growing team in Sarasota, Florida. This full-time role is ideal for someone who is confident working at heights, has strong tree climbing and rigging experience, and is interested in supporting both professional tree care and landscape lighting installations. If you're a certified arborist and safety-focused climber who takes pride in quality work and enjoys working outdoors, we'd love to hear from you. What You'll Do Safely climb and work in trees using ropes, harnesses, rigging systems, and industry-approved climbing techniques. Prune, trim, and remove trees while maintaining the highest safety standards. Operate chainsaws, pole saws, wood chippers, bucket trucks, and other tree care equipment safely and efficiently. Assist with landscape lighting installations, including working in trees to prepare, install, or maintain lighting systems. (Installation training provided, if necessary) Support residential and commercial outdoor projects throughout Sarasota and surrounding areas. Inspect trees for health concerns and structural hazards, recommending appropriate care when needed. Maintain climbing gear, tools, and equipment in safe working condition. Collaborate with crew members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule. Follow OSHA and industry safety standards at all times. What We're Looking For Minimum 3 years of tree climbing or arborist experience required. Proven experience with tree climbing, rigging, and removals. Comfortable working at significant heights and in varying outdoor conditions. Skilled in operating chainsaws, bucket trucks, chippers, and climbing equipment. Knowledge of tree health, pruning techniques, and safe removal practices. ISA Certified Arborist certification is required. Experience with landscape lighting or outdoor installation work is a plus. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required. Must be able to pass a background check. Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
