Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and versatile Maintenance Worker to join our team and ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of our facilities and outdoor spaces. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance tasks, including landscaping, lawn care, equipment operation, and general repairs. Your efforts will help create a safe, attractive, and well-maintained environment that supports our organization's mission and enhances the experience for staff and visitors alike. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills and contribute to a dynamic team dedicated to excellence.
Work days and hours:
M-Thursday 8AM to 5PM, Friday 8AM-Noon. Duties Perform landscape maintenance activities such as mowing, tree trimming, pruning, planting, and garden care to keep outdoor areas vibrant and healthy Operate hand tools, power tools, lawn mowers, snow plows, excavators, and other equipment safely and efficiently for various maintenance tasks Conduct routine inspections and repair of facilities to identify repair needs related to plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC units, or structural issues Maintain hardscape features including pathways, patios, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures through repairs or cleaning Provide tree care services such as trimming, pruning, or removal using appropriate equipment and techniques Contribute to landscaping projects by planting new greenery or replacing damaged elements in outdoor spaces Support gardening activities including soil preparation, fertilization, pest control, and seasonal planting efforts Collaborate with team members on construction or renovation projects as needed to improve facility infrastructure Experience Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in maintenance or construction environments Familiarity with landscape maintenance techniques including mowing, landscaping, tree care, and gardening practices Skilled in operating hand tools and power tools safely and effectively Ability to perform physical tasks outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnosing repair needs and executing solutions effectively Join us as a Maintenance Worker if you're passionate about maintaining beautiful outdoor environments while supporting the operational needs of a vibrant organization.
