Duties Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales Serve food and beverages promptly with professionalism, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards Maintain cleanliness of tables, bar area, and service stations; bus tables as needed to ensure a welcoming environment Assist with food preparation when necessary and support kitchen staff in maintaining sanitation standards Provide knowledgeable recommendations on wine, spirits, cocktails, and menu options based on guest preferences Handle guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure a positive dining experience Follow all sanitation procedures related to food handling, beverage service, and overall cleanliness in compliance with health regulations Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for order processing and sales management Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse guests Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing tabs seamlessly Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue Food safety certification and understanding of sanitation standards in the food industry Experience with food handling, food preparation support, bussing tables, and guest relations in a hospitality setting Strong communication skills coupled with a friendly attitude that fosters guest loyalty Join us if you're passionate about delivering outstanding service in a lively environment!
