Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Tree Trimmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for tree care and landscaping, with hands-on experience in tree trimming and maintenance. This role involves working outdoors in various weather conditions, using specialized equipment to ensure the health and aesthetics of trees and landscapes. Duties Perform tree trimming and pruning to maintain the health and appearance of trees. Operate bucket trucks safely for high-altitude trimming and removal tasks. Utilize rigging techniques to lower branches safely and efficiently. Conduct landscape maintenance, including lawn care and general landscaping duties. Assess tree health and provide recommendations for care or removal as needed. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, ensuring safety protocols are followed. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety standards. Qualifications Proven experience in tree trimming, tree care, or horticulture is preferred. Familiarity with GIS technology for mapping and planning purposes is a plus. Proficient in operating bucket trucks and other landscaping equipment. Strong understanding of rigging techniques for safe tree removal practices. Knowledge of landscape maintenance practices, including lawn care and plant care. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and physically demanding environments. Excellent teamwork skills with a commitment to safety and quality work.
