Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Tree Trimmer and play a vital role in maintaining the health, safety, and beauty of urban and rural landscapes. In this energetic position, you will utilize your expertise in tree care to perform precise trimming, pruning, and removal tasks. Responsibilities Safely operate bucket trucks, chainsaws, and rigging equipment to access and work on trees at various heights Perform tree trimming, pruning, and removal with attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols Use arborist rigging techniques to dismantle large or hazardous trees efficiently and securely Conduct plant pruning care to promote healthy growth and aesthetic appeal Apply knowledge of horticulture, dendrology (the study of trees), and landscape maintenance to ensure optimal tree health Assist with land clearing projects by removing dead or dangerous trees while minimizing environmental impact Follow all safety procedures rigorously during outdoor work activities to prevent accidents or injuries Qualifications Proven experience in outdoor work environments, especially related to horticulture, landscaping, or arboriculture Familiarity with GIS (Geographic Information Systems) for mapping and planning tree maintenance projects is a plus Hands-on experience operating bucket trucks and chainsaws safely and effectively Knowledge of arborist rigging techniques, tree care practices, and tree removal procedures Ability to perform plant pruning care and detailed tree trimming with precision Strong understanding of safety protocols related to climbing, rigging, and equipment use Growing experience in landscaping or lawn care is advantageous Excellent physical condition for climbing, lifting, and working at heights over extended periods Join us as a Tree Trimmer where your skills will directly impact community safety and environmental health.
