Job Description

Overview Basic Requirements Professional Climbing Arborist. Minimum of 3 years experience. Safely climb and perform and correct arboricultural techniques for the trimming, pruning, thinning, removals, rigging, and felling as applies to working in close proximity to energized conductors. Possesses the ability to lift, move, and maneuver up to 50 pounds on an infrequent basis and up to 30 pounds on a frequent basis. Ability to operate and service all required tools and equipment.
Work Location:
In person Safely climb trees using ropes, harnesses, and climbing gear to perform pruning, trimming, and removal tasks. Operate bucket trucks and bucket lifts to access high branches efficiently and securely. Implement rigging techniques to safely lower large branches or debris during tree removal or pruning projects. Conduct comprehensive tree assessments, including health checks and hazard evaluations, utilizing GIS (Geographic Information Systems) tools for mapping and documentation. Assist with landscape maintenance tasks such as lawn care, planting, and general landscaping to support overall site aesthetics. Use specialized equipment like bucket trucks and other machinery to facilitate efficient tree care operations. Follow safety protocols diligently while performing all tasks to ensure personal safety and that of team members. Skills Proven experience in tree climbing, pruning, trimming, and general tree care practices. Strong knowledge of rigging techniques for safe removal of large limbs or trees
Pay:
$23.52 - $32.55 per hour
