In this energetic role, you'll leverage your climbing skills and arborist expertise to perform tree care, removal, pruning, and maintenance tasks with precision and safety. Your work will directly contribute to the preservation of trees, enhancement of green spaces, and safety of communities. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your outdoor work experience while mastering advanced arboriculture techniques. Responsibilities Safely ascend trees using climbing gear and rigging techniques to perform pruning, trimming, or removal operations. Operate bucket trucks and other aerial lift equipment to access difficult-to-reach areas efficiently. Use chainsaws and hand tools to cut branches, limbs, or entire trees while adhering strictly to safety protocols. Implement arborist rigging techniques for controlled tree dismantling or limb removal to prevent property damage or injury. Conduct plant pruning care and tree trimming to promote healthy growth and aesthetic appeal. Perform tree removal procedures with precision, ensuring safe disposal of debris and proper site cleanup. Experience Proven outdoor work experience in tree care, landscaping, or related fields with a focus on safety and efficiency. Hands-on experience operating bucket trucks, chainsaws, and other arborist equipment. Familiarity with arborist rigging techniques, tree removal processes, and plant pruning care.
