Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious Climber to join our dynamic team dedicated to maintaining and enhancing urban and rural landscapes. As a Climber, you will be responsible for executing tree care operations, including pruning, trimming, and removal, utilizing advanced arborist rigging techniques. Your expertise in working at heights with bucket trucks and rigging gear will ensure the health and safety of trees while supporting landscape maintenance projects. Responsibilities Perform tree pruning, trimming, and removal using arborist rigging techniques and chainsaws, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Operate bucket trucks safely for elevated work. Execute rigging procedures for complex tree removals or limb disassembly, ensuring safe handling of heavy limbs and equipment. Conduct site inspections to evaluate tree health, identify hazards, and recommend appropriate tree care. Support lawn care, landscape maintenance, and general gardening activities as needed to maintain aesthetic appeal. Utilize Jobber tools to maintain proper job tracking and communication. Follow all safety guidelines diligently during outdoor work activities, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Qualifications Proven experience working outdoors with a strong background in climbing rigging, tree knowledge, and basic landscaping. Hands-on experience with bucket truck operation and arborist rigging techniques. Skilled in tree removal, pruning, trimming, and plant care practices. Familiarity with chainsaws and other tree care tools; certification in chainsaw operation is a plus. Knowledge of safety protocols related to climbing at heights and outdoor work environments. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks while maintaining attention to detail and safety standards. Growing experience in horticulture or landscape maintenance is highly desirable.
