Responsibilities Operate bucket trucks and other aerial lift equipment to access high branches safely for pruning, trimming, or removal Execute tree removal projects using arborist rigging techniques and chainsaws with precision and safety compliance Perform plant pruning care to promote healthy growth and improve landscape aesthetics Conduct tree trimming and limb removal following established safety protocols and industry standards Use GIS (Geographic Information Systems) tools for mapping and planning tree care activities when applicable Assist with rigging operations to safely lower large limbs or trees during removal or pruning processes Maintain detailed records of work performed, including logs of tree conditions, pruning activities, and equipment usage Requirements Proven outdoor work experience with a focus on horticulture, landscaping, or arboriculture Hands-on experience operating bucket trucks, chainsaws, and other tree care equipment Knowledge of arborist rigging techniques, tree removal procedures, and plant pruning care Familiarity with GIS applications for landscape planning is a plus Strong understanding of safety protocols related to aerial work, chainsaw operation, and rigging procedures Ability to perform physically demanding tasks outdoors in various weather conditions Growing experience in horticulture or dendrology (the study of trees) is highly desirable Excellent attention to detail in landscape maintenance practices such as lawn care and plant health assessment Join us in creating safe, beautiful outdoor spaces!
