Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Bucket Operator to join our dynamic team dedicated to maintaining and enhancing outdoor landscapes and utility infrastructure. As a Bucket Operator, you will be responsible for operating bucket trucks safely and efficiently while performing tree care, pruning, and removal tasks. Your expertise in rigging, horticulture, and arborist techniques will be essential in ensuring safe work practices and high-quality results. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, apply your technical skills, and contribute to beautifying and maintaining vital green spaces and utility lines. Duties Safely operate bucket trucks and aerial lifts to access trees, and other elevated work sites Perform tree trimming, pruning, and removal using chainsaws, rigging techniques, and arborist equipment Execute plant care activities including pruning, shaping, and general landscaping to promote healthy growth Apply arborist rigging techniques for safe tree dismantling or branch removal in complex situations Conduct land clearing activities such as tree removal with precision and adherence to safety protocols Use GIS (Geographic Information Systems) tools for mapping and planning work sites effectively Follow all safety procedures diligently while working outdoors in various weather conditions Qualifications Proven experience operating bucket trucks or aerial lifts in outdoor environments Knowledge of tree care practices including pruning, trimming, and plant health assessment Familiarity with rigging techniques specific to arboriculture and tree removal operations Ability to handle chainsaws safely and efficiently for cutting tasks Strong understanding of safety protocols related to working at heights and around power lines Join us if you're passionate about outdoor work, have a keen eye for detail in tree care, and thrive in a safety-conscious environment.
