Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Tree Service Crew Member and become a vital part of maintaining healthy, beautiful landscapes! In this energetic role, you'll work outdoors in various environments & elements assisting with tree care, removal, pruning and stump grinding. Your efforts will contribute to safer, more attractive outdoor spaces while gaining valuable experience in arboriculture and horticulture. This paid position offers hands-on training and the opportunity to develop specialized skills in tree rigging and equipment operation. Responsibilities Assist with tree removal, trimming, pruning, and planting to promote healthy growth and aesthetic appeal Operate bucket trucks and other equipment safely to access high branches and difficult areas Use rigging techniques for safe tree dismantling and branch removal, following arborist rigging standards Perform plant pruning care to enhance tree health and landscape design Conduct general site cleanup Follow safety protocols diligently during all outdoor activities and equipment operation Support team members in using chainsaws, leaf blowers and hand tools for precise work planning Skills Experience working outdoors in landscaping and tree care environments with growing experience preferred Knowledge of tree care practices including pruning, trimming, and removal techniques Ability to operate bucket trucks, chainsaws, and other arborist equipment safely and effectively Familiarity with rigging methods used in arboriculture for controlled tree dismantling Understanding of safety protocols related to climbing, rigging, and equipment use Strong physical stamina for outdoor work in varying weather conditions Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive approach to learning new techniques in tree service and landscaping Join us to grow your expertise in arboriculture while helping create safe, beautiful outdoor environments! Pay:
$16.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per weekBenefits:
