In this energetic position, you will utilize your expertise in arboriculture and outdoor work to perform precise tree care, trimming, pruning, and removal. Your skills will help enhance urban and rural environments while ensuring safety protocols are strictly followed. Duties Safely operate bucket trucks, chainsaws, and rigging equipment to access and work on trees at various heights Perform tree trimming, pruning, and shaping to promote healthy growth and aesthetic appeal Conduct tree removal operations using rigging techniques to safely dismantle hazardous or unwanted trees Apply arborist rigging techniques for complex pruning or removal tasks involving large or difficult-to-reach branches Maintain safety protocols during all outdoor activities, including wearing protective gear and following industry standards Assist with landscape maintenance tasks such as lawn care, planting, and general horticulture to support overall site health Skills Strong knowledge of tree care practices, including pruning, planting, and disease management Skilled in the use of chainsaws, bucket trucks, and rigging equipment for safe tree work operations Familiarity with arborist rigging techniques for complex tree dismantling processes Understanding of safety related to tree service
