Overview Join our dynamic team as a Field Arborist and become a vital part of maintaining healthy, beautiful, and safe urban and rural landscapes. In this energetic role, you will apply your expertise in tree care, pruning, and removal to enhance the environment while ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards. Your outdoor work will involve operating specialized equipment, utilizing arborist rigging techniques, and collaborating with team members to deliver exceptional tree management services. This position offers an engaging opportunity for passionate horticulture and landscaping enthusiasts eager to grow their skills in a fast-paced setting. Responsibilities Perform tree pruning, trimming, and plant care to promote healthy growth and aesthetic appeal Conduct tree removals using rigging techniques and operate bucket trucks safely and efficiently Utilize GIS (Geographic Information Systems) tools for mapping and documenting tree inventories and work sites Execute arborist rigging procedures for complex tree work, ensuring safety protocols are strictly followed Manage land clearing projects, including stump grinding, land restoration, and lawn care activities Inspect trees for disease, structural issues, or hazards, recommending appropriate action or treatment Adhere to all safety protocols during outdoor operations, including chainsaw use and equipment handling Collaborate with team members on landscaping projects to ensure seamless integration of tree care within broader site plans Qualifications Proven experience in outdoor work environments with a focus on horticulture, landscaping, or arboriculture Strong knowledge of tree care practices including pruning, trimming, planting, and removal techniques Skilled in using chainsaws, bucket trucks, rigging gear, and other arborist equipment safely Familiarity with GIS applications for mapping or landscape planning is a plus Understanding of arborist rigging techniques for safe removal of large or hazardous trees Knowledge of dendrology (study of trees) and general plant care principles Ability to follow safety protocols diligently while working at heights or with heavy machinery Growing experience in horticulture or landscape maintenance is highly desirable Embark on a rewarding career where your expertise helps shape vibrant landscapes while advancing your skills in arboriculture. Pay:
$25.00 - $40.00 per hour
