Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Commercial Driver's License Driver/Arborist, where you'll combine skilled tree care with safe, efficient transportation. In this role, you'll operate specialized vehicles such as bucket trucks and ensure the safe handling and removal of trees and landscape materials. Your expertise will help maintain healthy, beautiful outdoor environments while adhering to strict safety protocols. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your arborist knowledge and driving skills in a fast-paced, outdoor setting that values safety, professionalism, and environmental stewardship. Duties Safely operate commercial vehicles including bucket trucks, ensuring compliance with all traffic and safety regulations. Perform tree removal, pruning, trimming, and planting activities using arborist rigging techniques and appropriate equipment. Conduct rigging operations for tree care and removal, utilizing tools such as chainsaws and other pruning equipment. Use GIS (Geographic Information Systems) technology for mapping and planning landscape projects. Execute landscape maintenance tasks like lawn care, planting, and general horticulture to promote healthy growth. Implement safety protocols during all operations to protect team members, clients, and the environment. Assist with land clearing projects using bucket operation skills and tree care expertise to ensure efficient project completion. Skills Proven experience operating bucket trucks and other aerial lift equipment safely. Strong knowledge of arborist rigging techniques, tree removal procedures, and tree care practices. Familiarity with GIS mapping tools for landscape planning and project management. Skilled in plant pruning care, tree trimming, and landscape maintenance techniques. Proficient with chainsaws, pruning tools, and other landscaping equipment. Deep understanding of safety protocols related to outdoor work environments and heavy equipment operation. Growing experience in horticulture, dendrology (study of trees), lawn care, landscaping, and arboriculture practices.
